Wow, pure mechanical genius! I'm surprised by the lack of safety measures.. for an organised events, I saw a couple of peoples that barely avoided injuries, including kids! I like tractor videos and the sound of the tractors and the people there too...makes it feel more like you're really there. Loud noisy music dubbed over it, ruins it!
Sitting here with machinery management students: Such a great pity that the Brain power doesn't match the engine power which , too, is too much for the Drawbar horsepower in these cases. Over and over again we see too0 much Position and not enough Draft control. Don't know if the Brain Linkage was even engaged. YOu have to feel sorry for some of the folks though, looks like BIG Business nonsense succumbs to the purchase of overly big machinery for which the incumbent drivers have no real experience and there's NO accounting for drivers not even knowing which way they are pointing their steering wheels...... Thanks for posting this video that we may comment and learn , perhaps stimulating some educated discussion.

Tractors were often converted into semi-tracked, especially the 'Rotaped', invented in 1941 by O. Singer from London, which was originally built by George Monroe Limited, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. The first public demonstration of Rotaped took place in April 1942 near Harlow, Essex. G. Monroe claimed that the traction increased by 100% while decreasing the ground pressure to 0.5 kgf/cm2. But Singer went in 1946 to embark on rubber tracks. From 1950, Leeford Limited, London, take back the factory and introduced a system of rigid rail to keep fit of the track but they returned to the traditional chain to maintain the whole. Manufacturing continued until 1967.
Solid antique tractor. I am amazed at how it pulls that deep cutting breaking plow like it is nothing. Doesn't even change rpm when it takes the ground. Very impressive.
Big Tractor Power is out in the field with a two New Holland 1069 Stack Cruisers that automatically pick up and stack 160 14x18 hay bales at a time. This Western New York hay operation is harvesting its crop with three JOHN DEERE 348 balers powred by a JOHN DEERE 8295R, JOHN DEERE 8130 and JOHN DEERE 8300 tractor. That was a great little video and well worth the time. No goofy voice over, just straight to the point. Those machines are crazy efficient. My dad’s uncle had a small ranch around Barstow back in the 70s. They used an old Case for cutting, a New Holland bailer that spat out 3 different sized bails at any given time - it’s choice - and an elevator attached at the side of a 1928 Rio cement truck converted to flat bed, towed by a 36’ Deere - I think model B. I was very young so I was the autopilot in the Rio. To say they were poor is an understatement. May God Bless the family farmer. It can be a difficult and unforgiving life.
Thanks! If I remember correctly the triple Deere was at the Rollag Mn. Steam Threshers when they featured home builts. Brings back memories of plowing with 4wds . As we have seen in Netherlands, more and more efforts to undermine farmers with green new scam, and without them, WE DON'T EAT!!! It sure was nice seeing that big old Steiger Tiger in action. I think that is the first time I had seen a Rome tractor in action. That was special. Thank you for all the work you do putting these videos together.
The White looked amazing. But the real star was the tiny Oliver tugging that single moldboard. Great video, big tyres, big exhaust's and big on the throttle for some, seems some drivers thought the speed limit is 40mph, way too quick for my liking, excellent display though. cheers from Adelaide
This is fantastic! Absolutely loving it! Just what I needed today! I'm a huge fan of tractors!!!! How do you always know what I want?? Its like you know the sound of big diesel power gets me all excited and stuff..... All those tracks and big tillage tools.... get out of my head, sir!!!! Beautiful convoy coming down the road. I imagine the asphalt is pretty hard on those tracks, but, you have to get your equipment to the fields. I really like the Challenger.
